Group Training Schedule


Girevoy Sport (competitive kettlebell lifting) has a variety of organized competition modalities. Athletes generally compete against others in their own weight divisions with men competing with 32 Kilogram (70+lbs) kettlebells and women competing with 16 Kilogram (35+lbs) kettlebells regardless of the individuals body weight.

Classic Girevoy Sport Competition- the athlete will perform Jerks with two kettlebells as many times as possible within 10 minutes and then, after a 30 minute recovery period, Snatch one kettlebell as many times as possible within another 10 minute period!

Long Cycle Girevoy Sport Competition- the athlete will complete a series of Clean and Jerk cycles with two kettlebells without allowing them to touch the ground as many times as possible within 10 minutes!

There are also other events where athletes compete in Juggling and "non traditional" kettlebell lifts as well.
